SOGIN CHOOSES COLIBRI SECURITY PLATFORM
Sogin, sole operator for the management and progressive decommissioning of Italian Nuclear Power Plants, has chosen Colibrì Security Platform for the implementation of an advanced Early Warning system. The integration of video analysis algorithms and a millimetric radar sensor allows the identification of an intrusion at a distance of kilometers from the fence, allowing the Armed Vigilance present at the site to intervene promptly and intercept the attempt before the violation of the critical perimeter. The system also provides the operator with information on the type of intruder (vehicle or person) and its geographical location. The video surveillance capabilities of Colibrì Security Platform automatically track the target along the route allowing discrimination of the event and identification of the intruder.
